What We Learned From Round 11 of the 14-Day Sugar Vaca

Wow. Just wow.

Every time we wrap up a round of the 14-Day Sugar Vaca, I think to myself, This might’ve been the best one yet. And somehow, it always is – because the growth, insights, and momentum that happen in just TWO weeks are nothing short of magic. ✨

Round 11 was no exception. In fact, it was one of the most powerful rounds we’ve had. Maybe it was the energy of the group. Maybe it was the timing. Maybe it was the fact that people are truly craving a reset that feels doable (and not like a crash diet from 2003).

Whatever the reason, the takeaways from this round were big. So I wanted to take a moment and share a few highlights — not just from me, but straight from the mouths of the Sugar Vacationers who showed up and said YES to themselves.

Top 3 Takeaways From This Round

1️⃣ The body responds FAST when we give it what it needs.

Some Vacationers felt better by Day 3. That’s sooner than usual, and it just goes to show how wildly responsive our bodies are when we reduce the sugar/flour/processed foods and add in more real, whole food.

And this isn’t just chance – it’s science! Studies show your gut microbiome can begin shifting in as little as 72 hours. That means your digestion, mood, cravings, sleep, and even your focus can improve – just from changing what’s on your plate.

One of my favorite parts of the Sugar Vaca is helping people find new, better-for-you versions of the foods they love – pizza, pasta, bagels, chocolate... all of it!

This isn’t about restriction or “never again.” It’s about learning to eat with intention rather than from habit or stress. You don’t need to white-knuckle your way through a detox. You need a supportive reset that works in real life – because real life isn’t going anywhere.

This is the one that gets me every time. When sugar stops being the default, people start reaching for other tools – a walk, a hot shower, a nourishing meal, or even just a deep breath. You start realizing what you actually need in the moment.

And that kind of mindset shift? It’s everything. You’re not just eating differently. You’re thinking differently. You’re showing up for yourself in a way that lasts long after the 14 days are over.
